Watched sunset at the Torrey Pines Gliderport near La Jolla beach, San Diego. Back at LAX. Tokyo, here we come!

Drove straight from LAX to see the HOLLYWOOD sign. On the way we saw oil wells which I didn't expect to see in CA. Drive through one of the neighborhoods with tall palm trees was nice too. Pretty much adjusted to the 3 hour time difference after good night's sleep at Lakshmi's cousin's place in Cerritos. On to San Diego...

Spectacular views of Mojave

The view prior to 30 minutes from touch down at LAX was spectacular. Along with sand, place was littered with pyramid like mountains.

Puffy Cotton Clouds at St. Louis

Puffy clouds welcomed us to STL. They were beautiful as a consolation to the not so great trip from LGA-STL. We almost missed this flight as I didn't realize that going from terminal C to Terminal D at LGA requires another Security check! Also it appears be the rush hour at LGA. We taxied for an hour moving in the queue waiting FOR our turn to take off. On top of that our seats were at the back row next to the toilet! Anyway, we are in the CDT time zone now. LAX flight is delayed by 35 minutes.

2014 India Trip with Sahaj

I am excited about this trip (July 17th - August 27th) taking us to several new places that we haven't visited including Los Angeles, San Diego, Tokyo, Kaula Lumpur and finally India. We will also be traveling with in India covering four states (Telengana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh) and a Union territory (Pondicherry). I am changing the blog title from "My Journey of becoming a Pilot" to reflect this trip. I plan on regularly posting to this blog.
