Merry Christmas!
I went for the morning session at 7 a.m. The winds didn't look promising. Ryan released a helium baloon into the air which showed gusty drainage winds coming from the mountains. About 8 a.m. wind direction has changed to East. He released another balloon. Up until a few feet above the ground it is fine but after that gusty northerly winds still prevailed. If it is going to be like this, there is no point in me staying here waiting for the winds to calm down every day. So, I decided to call it off for now. It's kind of disappointing to go home without a single solo but, there is always a next time. I need to find a training location close to a beach where constant sea breeze would be ideal for this sport.
I will continue my blog when I reattempt PPG some other time. Bye for now and wish you all a Happy New Year.
